how do i record with my vcr
hi tomorrow is the 2008 olympic ceremony and my mom is going to miss it so i want to tape it down for her. today i tried to test my vcr by recording some random tv show and when i rewind the tape its blank. can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong. my vcr plugs(video audio L R) are connect to my tv. i have a cable vision box. someone please help me. before the time run out.

If your vcr is connected to your cable box through the AV inputs, you need to set the cable box to the channel that you want and set the vcr channel to AV/aux or "input" or the equivalent. It will record then.
