What do these Sprint symbols mean?
I have a Treo 755 and it shows some of the same symbols my old phone used to show, but I cannot find out what they mean.
First, I know what the signal strength meter and the up and down arrows by it mean (data transmission), but what do the set of 6 (3 up 3 down) arrows next to that mean? I am guessing it means EVDO, but that is just a guess.
Second, what about the crosshairs/target looking icon? I have no idea what that one means.
I have been trying to work these out, since I spend half of my day in a Sprint area, and half roaming. I think I get the roaming symbol (upwards blue triangle).
The arrows means you're connected to the Sprint Power Vision data network.
The crosshairs means you have the location option. Means they can tell where you are through your phone signal I believe.
