How to connect ceiling speakers to satellite reciever?
My ceiling has 5 built-in speakers.
On the wall, there is an opening with many wires coming out.
Those wires are:
5 blue wires, that have a black and red wire inside.
One HDMI cable.
One coaxial.
Yellow, Red, White, Green, Blue.
I know those 5 blue wires are for each speaker. My question is how do I connect those speakers to my DirectTV Receiver?
You need a 5.1 (or better) surround sound receiver to drive the speakers. You connect the sat. receiver to the surround sound receiver.
