Dell Inspiron 530S to HDTV?
I want buy an HDTV (which has a VGA port) and hook it to my PC (Dell Inspiron 530S) with a 2-Port VGA Video Splitter. I want to use both the original monitor and 32-inch HDTV screen together for a dual monitor effect in my room.
My question is: will this work?
I don't really want to buy a new video card or mess with any of the internal stuff.
If I can't use an HDTV, can I use another 30-inch computer monitor and achieve the same thing?

I have a desktop, not a laptop.
You should not have a problem with this I am using the s-video from laptop to my TV, I am using the NVidia program that is for the installed card that allows me to clone for the TV I found that I need to use the alt key rather then the ctrl key to get it to show up on my TV but works fine.
