How do the electronics of the satellite finder work? Is it amplitude, freq change? or what does it measure?
I need to know what changes when the signal hits the LNB that drives the strength indicator, and turns the buzzer on, or increases the current in the meter. Is it measuring a current draw in the LNB as a resault of the increase in the activity due to signal strength, or is it some thing else that eludes me? Are there any sites that show the construction of one? All I found was where to buy them, and how easy they make your job. I need to know more, like what is the voltage range they work in?
